Pickleball Achievements

 

As an avid pickleball player, Suzanne has not only honed her skills on the court but has also taken on significant roles within the pickleball community. She has served as a tournament director, instructor, and leader of skills and drills sessions, sharing her expertise and enthusiasm with other players. Her commitment to the sport is further highlighted by her tenure as the five-year president of the pickleball club at the Del Webb Rancho Del Lago community. During her presidency, Suzanne accomplished several notable projects that have greatly benefited the pickleball community.

 

These include:

• Securing the lining of four new pickleball courts on an existing tennis court

• Overseeing the resurfacing of courts

• Facilitating the installation of a practice backboard

• Initiating a Veteran's Day pancake breakfast to raise funds for the Veterans Fisher House and Veteran's home

• Organizing and managing numerous round robins, ladder play, fun tournaments, and various events for the local club, instructor for beginner and intermediate pickleball

 

Professional Experience

 

Beyond her involvement in pickleball, Suzanne has a robust professional background. She was a business owner and held a prominent upper-level management position at California State University, Sacramento. Her roles in these capacities have demonstrated her leadership abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills – qualities that have been instrumental in her various achievements.
